Cancellation Policy

Non- Attendance or Late Cancellation

 Whilst we appreciate there may be unavoidable situations that warrant last minute changes missed appointments represent a cost to not only the practice but other patients who could have been seen in the time set aside for you. Failed appointments can sometimes interfere with dental treatment and create unnecessary scheduling problems for other patients.

 If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason, we kindly request 48 hours’ notice. 

 Failure to attend an appointment or rescheduling/ cancelling an appointment with less than 48 hours notice will result in a fee. This fee is based on the length of the appointment. 

 If there are any extenuating circumstances this fee may be waived on management discretion. 

 Our goal in communicating our cancellation and failed to attend policy is to avoid any extra charges being passed on to the patient.

 

Appointment Reminders 

Please note that although we send text message reminders ahead of your appointment, the successful delivery of these relies on our text provider, your mobile network provider and your phone. Therefore, you should NOT rely on text messages as the sole reminder of your appointment as we will not be responsible for any appointments missed because of non-delivery of the text message, regardless of the reason for its failure.
